This book is amazing to me personally because I love stories of mystery and murder. The book is about a girl named Poppy who is in the isle of Murrang where people start mysteriously dying one by one. The texture of the book was great, it felt like I was there. a book review
Here are the things i want to get threw
:Has the book got pictures=no
:Is what the title says true in in the book=yes
:is it a book a book with loads of vocabulary=yes
Here i will tell you the authors name and the name of the book.
:The name of the author is Tanya landman who has written other famous books like Deadly funny/Dying to be famous/and head is dead.
:The name of the book is Mondays are murder.
Now I will tell you about the story.
The first 20 pages i read were kind of interesting I will tell you why.
:1 I liked it because at the beginning of the story they kind of relate to the title.
:2 I liked it because when one of the characters said the phrase the driving made her/him sick like they had been on a rollacoaster which I have witnessed before.
The next 24 pages I read were not as interesting first few pages read but again I got to points.
:1 I liked it because I liked it when one of the chracters bruce told ghost stories to the kids.
:2 I liked it because they talked about rock climing and how it was safe when it actually was not.
The next 13 pages I read were quite interesting here is why.
: 1 because now they are starting an investigationon who killed one of the characters and now their making the title sound true.
: 2 because it tells you why two of the characters are familiar.
The next 20 pages I read were the most interesting pages I read in the story I will tell you why I enjoyed those pages.
: 1 because now the characters actually think their cursed by a ghost.
: 2 because their is a murderer on the case.
: 3 I liked it that the murderer thought about what he was going to do of just of just killing people one by one he actually thought about the radio and jammed it so they could not communicate with the world.
: 4 now I am actually finding the book entertaining.
The next 20 pages I read were just a little less
interesting here is why.
: 1 because one of the characters says that he does not go anywhere without his libary card I find it funny that a libary card can open loads of places
: 2 because they talk a littke bit about global warming which I am learning about.
: 3 because now they got two characters as suspects of being the murderer.
the next 10 pages I read were read were a little interesting here is why.
: 1 because now they got the right person right murderer and they have solved the case.
eventually I finished the book.
Now I will tell you how I feel about the book; When I finished the book I was satisfied because i found the book a little funny, I was a little unsatisfied because the book didn't have any pictures, but in general I liked the book. Here is one word to describe how I feel about the book: ENTERTAINING!

This book is fantastic, it has a lot of action, adventure, mystery and mostly murder. It is about a girl called Poppy Fields who gets invited to an activity centre on Murrag. When she gets there, there is a fake death done by Bruce Dundee. Once he gets everyone upset about his murder he uses survival skills to stay alive and he knocks people off one by one, leaving Mike until last. The book I am reading is called' Mondays are murder' and it is by the brilliant author Tanya landman. the other sequels include:Dead funny, Dying to be famous and the Head is dead.

This amazing story is about people who never believed in ghosts until one night they were told a scary story by a man named Bruce.

They were climbing when the rope that held bruce snapped. It seems that the rope hadn't been snapped by accident but by pupose.

I want to tell you more but I think you should read it for yourself I also want don't want to give away the murderer. I really enjoyed the book and you might too,so why not try?

Mondays Are Murder is like most books good at the beginning, but not like most books all scary. But this book is normal I like that in book. One of the characters, Steve Harris , sadly died before the end. Poppy Field’s is the main character who goes on this adventure. An instructor called Bruce Dundee is responsible for the deaths. Mike and also a child called Graham, along with Poppy, tried to solve all these deaths. The good thing is the characters are mentioned a lot so you get to know them which makes them stand out. It’s not like other stories with creatures and masked murders to kill people. Mondays Are Murder is good you don’t get confused about who done what and you try to guess what’s going to happen.

Well, the book was very interesting. I liked the way the author showed how Poppy acted around people by reading they're expressions and the way the other people involved in the story acted around her. I also liked it because it put the reader in suspense when something was about to happen and it made me feel scared, when the murders actually occurred! I honestly had no idea who was killing all those people and it came as a big shock to me, when I realised who was committing the murders. However, the front cover and the title didn't really have much to do with the actual story (it made me think it was about a famous detective looking for a person who only killed people on Mondays). I learned from this book that you can't judge books by their cover no matter how boring and difficult it seems to be. In conclusion, 'Mondays are murder' was a very exciting (and scary!) book and children aged 10-14 would adore the chance to read it !
